An Experienced Prosecutor's Plan for Public Safety
A safe community is the foundation for a prosperous life. As a prosecutor, I have spent my career in the courtroom working to keep families safe and hold violent criminals accountable. I know what it takes to build a justice system that is both tough and smart—one that prosecutes crime effectively while earning the public’s trust and ensuring fairness.
As Attorney General, Tanya will:
Target and dismantle violent criminal networks, human trafficking rings and those who traffic illegal guns and deadly drugs like fentanyl into our state.
Support local law enforcement by providing the resources, training and assistance needed to solve crimes and protect our neighborhoods.
Prioritize the prosecution of crimes against children and domestic violence to protect the most vulnerable among us.
Work to strengthen our justice system by promoting evidence-based policies that reduce recidivism and make our communities safer in the long run.
Taking on Price Gouging and Unfair Utility Hikes: Protecting Your Pocketbook
Protecting you from fraud is just the beginning. For too many families, every trip to the grocery store and every monthly power bill feels like a gut punch. You deserve to know if you're paying a fair price for the essentials you need to live. When a handful of powerful corporations control the market, they can engage in practices that drive up costs for everyone. I believe your Attorney General must be a financial watchdog who investigates why your bills are so high.
As Attorney General, Tanya will:
Launch investigations into the grocery supply chain to uncover any illegal price gouging or anti-competitive practices that are artificially inflating the cost of food.
Challenge unfair and unjustified rate hikes from power and utility monopolies. I will represent you, the ratepayer, and be your advocate before the Public Service Commission.
Demand transparency from large corporations so Georgians can see why prices are rising and hold them accountable for any corporate greed that harms families.
Use the full anti-trust authority of the office to ensure a competitive market that gives consumers more choices and lower prices.
Championing Small Businesses: Ensuring a Level Playing Field
Small businesses are the backbone of Georgia's economy. They create jobs, innovate and enrich our neighborhoods. But too often, they are forced to compete against giant corporations that use their power to bend the rules, stifle competition, and evade responsibility. I believe in a marketplace where the best ideas—not the biggest legal budgets—win.
As Attorney General, Tanya will:
Challenge monopolistic practices that drive up prices for consumers and block small businesses from competing fairly.
Hold corporations accountable for negligence that harms our environment, our workers and our local economies.
Establish a Small Business Protection Unit within the Attorney General’s office to serve as a resource and advocate for Georgia entrepreneurs.
Fight to protect Georgia’s businesses from anti-competitive behavior and corporate actors who refuse to play by the rules.

The Attorney General has a sacred duty to uphold the Constitution of Georgia and the United States, and to protect the fundamental rights of every single person. This responsibility is above politics and party. I will serve as an independent voice, ensuring that the rights of all Georgians are safeguarded and that the promise of "equal justice under law" is a reality, not just a slogan.

Safeguard our most fundamental right—the right to vote—and challenge any effort that seeks to unlawfully disenfranchise Georgia voters.
Protect the privacy of Georgians from unwarranted government intrusion and corporate overreach in the digital age.
Uphold the rule of law to ensure that no one, no matter how powerful, is above accountability.
Fight discrimination in all its forms and ensure every Georgian is treated with dignity and fairness by their government.

In today's economy, every dollar counts. Yet every day, sophisticated scammers, predatory lenders and price gougers target hardworking Georgians, trying to cheat them out of their money. It’s wrong, and as Attorney General, I will be an aggressive watchdog for your family’s finances. I won’t let anyone exploit our citizens.
As Attorney General, Tanya will:
Aggressively prosecute robocall operations, identity thieves and online scammers that target our communities.
Fight back against predatory lending and illegal debt collection practices that trap families in cycles of debt.
Protect our seniors by pursuing those who commit elder fraud and financial abuse.
Enforce Georgia’s price gouging laws during states of emergency to stop businesses from taking advantage of a crisis.
